NSG 152 - Health Care Participant
Focuses on the health and wellness of diverse individuals, families, and the community throughout the lifespan. Covers concepts that focus on client attributes and preferences regarding healthcare. Emphasizes population-focused care. Provides supervised learning experiences in college nursing laboratories, clinical/community settings, and/or cooperating agencies, and/or simulated environments.
Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 5 hours per week.
Prerequisites: BIO 142 (or BIO 232), NSG 100, NSG 106, NSG 130 and NSG 200

The NSG 152 didactic course follows a hybrid teaching methodology whereby 50% of the course content is delivered synchronously via zoom, and 50% of the course content online via asynchronous distance education. The NSG 152 clinical component offers both a virtual clinical experience using a combination of asynchronous online activities and synchronous Zoom sessions as well as participating in clinical experiences in the community.
