The Career Studies Certificate in Career Studies Certificate in Pre-Medical Laboratory Technology is part of the Clinical/Medical Laboratory Technician program at Rappahannock Community College

The purpose of the Career Studies Certificate (CSC) in Health Sciences with a Pre-Medical Laboratory Technology specialization is to prepare students for competitive application to the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Medical Laboratory Technology in association with Reynolds Community College with a majority of general education courses completed. A second purpose is to provide an occupational credential as a phlebotomist for employment while pursuing advanced education.
