2nd twelve-week online course offered by NOVA Online. This is a digital open course. No textbook purchase required. Must also register for BIO 145-ET1N. Starts September 7. BIO 145 is replacing NAS 150. BIO 145 is a one semester class with a laboratory component that NAS 150 does not have. The programs at the Medical Education Campus are in the process of changing their requirements from NAS 150 to BIO 145.The only reason to take NAS 150 is if you are retaking it for a better grade (in this case, you need to retake the same course). And you will still be able to use the NAS 150 course to apply to MEC programs this year, and perhaps longer. If you have registered for NAS 150 for the first time, you should switch to BIO 145.
