The Emergency Medical Services - Paramedic Career Studies Certificate at PVCC trains students to act as first responders in emergency situations. This program builds of the current NREMT-I or RN-nursing students' training. The program prepares them to provide advanced pre-hospital care as an entry-level paramedic on city, county or private ambulance service or in hospitals, under guidelines in emergency situations.
