The PVCC Emergency Medical Services (EMS)-Advanced career studies certificate builds on skills learned as a National Registry or Virginia Certified Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs). These advanced skills prepare graduates to work as an Advanced EMT in pre-hospital settings. Graduates will have the knowledge and skills to function as Advanced EMTs (AEMT).
